Please book a tour with this company. You will not regret it. Erika was our guide to Cobá and a cenote. Her knowledge of the area and Mayan history is excellent. We learned so much from her and there was no crazy question we asked that she couldn’t answer. Don’t waste your time on those cheap bus tours where you’re rushed, get little for your money, served bad buffet food, and pressured into buying things at stops. Xaman-Ha is the real deal. Great family trip with Xaman Ha
We had a great experience with Xaman Ha connections, from the communication prior to the trip with Aranza, to our excellent tour guide and driver Mario. A wonderful tour! My wife and I went on the cenote excursion and we loved it. Our guide, Manuel Tapia, picked us up at the hotel and explained everything in detail. He was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the tour. I highly recommend it!

Aranxo helped my husband and I book the trip for a family of 14. The price was reasonable, very communicative and could switch back and forth from English to Spanish flawlessly. Mario was an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide from pick up to drop off. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly. Wow - what an experience!

We took a Chichen Itza/2 cenotes tour with Mario and it was fabulous! Mario was so helpful, very funny, loaded with tons of knowledge about everything, and so very kind. The ride went smoothly and we were able to customize any aspect we wanted to. The food we had during the tour was also delicious and the staff there were super accommodating, too.

Marisol was our reservations coordinator and she was so on top of all aspects of booking, questions needing answers, quick and helpful response times.

Tulum and cenotes
We went as a couple and did the Tulum ruins and cenotes tour. The booking process was quick and easy, thanks to Aranza and Marisol. Our guide, Sabino, arrived right on time and was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the tour. Private tour for two
I’m glad I chose this private tour over some of the larger tours. Pickup was early but was appropriate as we missed the crowds in all the stops. The car was comfortable, clean and Mario had water for us as well. Mario stopped a couple times along the drive for us to use the restroom and buy any snacks from convenience store. He was very knowledgeable about Chichen Itza and was mindful to try to keep his talking in the shade. The lunch restaurant was authentic food and was delicious. Great experience
Xaman Ha Connections is truly worth every penny. Our guide (Mario) was fantastic and has a wealth of knowledge. My wife and I had a great day visiting Chichen Itza and Saamal Cenote. Chichen Itza is obviously a magical place and well worth a visit but Mario's insight and knowledge made it even more special. The Saamal cenote was pretty cool and fun to jump into for a quick cool down. The buffet, which I'm usually not a fan of, was actully quite good and there were plenty of choices to satisfy mid-day hunger. We've used this company for numerous private trips while staying in Cancun and every experience has been amazing! Sabino is very passionate about what he does and the knowledge he shares and service he provides is top notch! We personally request Sabino for our excursions because he is a wealth of knowledge and each tour we've done with him has been incredible and well worth the money for a private excursion. So far, we've used Xman-ha Connections to visit cenotes, Coba, Tulum, Chitchen Itza twice and Ek Balam. Aranza assisted us in customizing a trip during our last visit to Cancun and her dedication to creating a trip perfectly tailored to our interests and our schedule resulted in a memorable time with family. What was most impressive about Xman-ha Connections was their flexibility in rescheduling our tour when a last minute family medical situation prevented us from doing our tour as scheduled. The concern for their clients and their desire to offer an experience that is above and beyond their competitors is what makes this company stand out above the others. Amazing Experience with Fernando
Fernando our private guide was so perfect we still can hardly believe it! We had booked a tour for the three of us to Chichen Itza and a cenote but (thanks to Fernando and Xaman-Ha) were able to switch during the drive for the trip we really wanted: Ek Balam where you can still climb some of the structures and without the crowds! The company was really great to work with, the price for a private tour was the best and they were VERY thoughtful about helping us choose a non-crowded cenote for our swim. Fernando was really kind and knowledgable and was able to speak to us on a wide range of topics, from history and science to international mythology to mystical aspects of the sites – basically, everything we were interested in he could speak to. Plus, he offered to take us for our lunch to a secret spot with possibly the best food of our entire trip. My husband and I recently booked a tour with Xaman-Ha Connections and we visited Tulum, Coba, 2 cenotes, stopped at a small community in the jungle for a traditional meal (absolutely delicious!) and were led through the property by a shaman who shared his family's history and different artifacts that had been found in the area, explained the healing/medicinal purpose of the various plants he picked and had us sample as we roamed the grounds, showed us his collection of bees who live in logs and let us try the honey they produced, and performed a ceremonial ritual with us. Our guide, Sabino, impressed us from the moment he picked us up from our resort in Cancun. Sabino's deep passion for the culture and history of his country was clearly evident. That, along with Sabino's vast knowledge gained from 30 years of guide experience and his continued professional development and certifications earned resulted in my husband and I having the pmost incredible experience. We were so thrilled with our tour that we booked another tour with Sabino for the following week. We visited a church, Chichen Itza, 2 open air cenotes, did a tequila tasting, had another fabulous lunch, and did some shopping in Valladolid before returning to our hotel. Sabino went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had a memorable time. Sabino clearly communicated with us in English and he and my history buff husband conversed for hours about the Myans, Aztecs, architecture, artifacts, etc. I can't rave enough about our positive experience during both of the tours we booked with Sabino through Xama-Ha Connections. Their customer service and professionalism far surpassed our expectations. When we returned home and looked at the fabulous videos and photos that Sabino took on his phone and shared with us through WhatsApp, we sent an additional tip to him through PayPal because we were so happy that he had captured so many special moments during our tours. We are already planning on another tour with Sabino and Xaman-Ha Connections to Ek Balam and more cenotes when we return to Mexico in 6 months. A private tour is well worth the expense and you won't be disappointed if booking through this company! My wife and I booked two excursions with Xaman-Ha Connections while we were visiting Tulum, the second excursion being that we liked our first experience so much. Our first tour was of Chichen Itza followed by a Cenote, with tour guide Sabino. We had such an amazing time and learned so much. Sabino was extremely kind and knowledgeable; and really seems to care about the Mayan culture and it’s history. We had such an amazing time when we booked our next adventure we requested Sabino again, and again he did not disappoint. Our second trip was less educational and more of an adventure where we went swimming with sea turtles, followed by atving and a trip to a Cenote followed by lunch. Again Sabino was great. We had a brilliant tour of the Coba ruins and the Punta Laguna nature reserve with Daniel. He was very knowledgable about the history and culture of the places we visited, spoke excellent English and was great fun to be with. He went above and beyond, sending us photos he'd taken of the tour when we couldn't (ie on the zipline or climbing a rope ladder from an underground cenote!) and even helping us set up our own tour for the following day.
